First Stop Centre - Education Classes

We provide a range of services to the community - including: confidence courses, employability confidence, towards volunteering & employment, IT, digital skills, maths and crafting. We can help build CVs via designated sessions. We aim to meet the needs of all members of the community in-house and through referrals to other appropriate local organisations, such as for those needing accredited courses.

Further info

Our confidence classes run for 6 weeks and are delivered alongside employability confidence. They are aimed at anyone who needs to improve their confidence and those who want to return to work. We can help with CVs and help you to find opportunities and apply for jobs or volunteering roles. Our towards volunteering and employment sessions help pick up on these goals

Crafting and digital skills (Saturdays) - Do you need help with your digital device/s? or are you wanting something creative to do on a Saturday? First Stop Centre can help with both of these. You can be a complete beginner or just want to come and take part. All digital sessions are based on what you need to learn- be that on a tablet, SMART phone or other device. Crafting sessions are usually working towards a theme, depending on the time of year. Please call to book onto a session.
