Hamelin: Roots and Shoots
Roots and Shoots is a horticultural training programme in Rochford for adults aged 18 and over who are autistic, have learning disabilities or additional support needs. It uses outdoor, hands-on learning to build confidence, practical skills and wellbeing. Participants take part in activities such as planting, growing and maintaining plants, while also learning about nature and wildlife. The programme supports personal development, independence and employability, with opportunities to work towards ASDAN qualifications. There is a cost for this service.
