Chelmsford Food Bank

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Chelmsford Foodbank is a project of the The River Church, Chelmsford, with volunteers drawn from  many churches and individuals from across the region.  Access to Foodbank vouchers is via a referral system. Please contact Chelmsford Citizen's Advice on 01245 205579 to discuss your situation, or make a referral via Frontline.

We have Food Distribution Centres open in different parts of Chelmsford, click here to find your nearest centre.  You are welcome to come to any of them irrespective of where you obtained your voucher.
