Diabetes UK: Chelmsford Group

It is our aim to provide help and support to people living with diabetes in the UK. We do this primarily through group meetings, designed with the express purpose of providing individuals with a safe, social forum to discuss diabetes and its effects. Meetings are relaxed and informal occasions giving the opportunity to get together and exchange views, news and experiences and any matters relating to diabetes.

  • We meet face to face and via Zoom. If you would like to join our Zoom meetings and haven't previously let us know, please contact us via email at chelmsforddiabetes@outlook.com.
  • At most meetings, we invite various speakers to come and talk about diverse aspects of diabetes and related topics.
  • When and where we can, we also try to raise money to promote awareness of diabetes and generally contribute in any way we can.  Whether you have been diagnosed yourself or if you are simply an individual with a desire for knowledge and an inclination to take part, we welcome you to our group.
