Headway: Support for Carers of Adults with Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injury
Headway Essex offers carer advice and support for carers of people living with an acquired brain injury. We have support and social groups across Essex that meet each month in easily accessible and relaxed community settings. The carer groups run in Colchester and Benfleet.

All carers are welcome and there are absolutely no expectations on you as an attendee; you can interact as little or as much as you like.
We offer a 5 week "Dont forget about me" educational programme designed specifically for carers of those with an acquired brain injury. The course explores changes in roles and relationships after brain injury, as well as education around ABI and exploring carer self-care.
