St Francis Community Pop Up Food Store

We are a mobile social supermarket which ‘Pops Up’ in three different locations across Chelmsford and unlike traditional food banks, which require proof of benefits or a referral to access their services, the St Francis Community Pop Up Food Store operates on a subscription model that is open to everyone. For an initial sign-up fee of £10, members receive a reusable shopping bag that acts as their membership card. Each visit to the store costs £5, allowing members to fill their bag with groceries worth approximately £20-£30 as needed.
