Handymoni Community Interest Company provides affordable handywomen services to support local residents and community groups in Thurrock and neighbouring boroughs. Their mission is to enhance community well-being by assisting individuals, particularly those in need, with home repairs and maintenance tasks. Services include fixing hazards, basic DIY repairs, and improving home safety to support independent living. We aim to reduce risks such as falls, unsafe fixtures, and poor home conditions while offering a reliable, friendly, trustworthy service.

HandyMoni CIC offers affordable, transparent pricing for minor home repairs and safety improvements.
Pricing Guide: Small jobs (e.g. tightening fittings, minor fixes): from £40 - £60; Standard jobs (e.g. installations, repairs): from £60 - £150; Larger or more complex jobs: priced on assessment
Work may be charged based on time, materials, and complexity. Where possible, quotes can be provided in advance using photos. Otherwise, there is a call-out charge of £30 to visit and assess jobs before giving a quote. No hidden costs - any additional charges (e.g. materials) will always be discussed and agreed in advance.
This service has been checked and verified by Thurrock Council as being a community enterprise that helps with care, housing, community or health matters. The service will have the following in place: • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (where appropriate for delivery of service) • Public Liability Insurance • Other insurance where required • HMRC registration (where there's a charge for service) • Will conform to any regulations applicable to the service offered. All service providers will provide their documentation on request and prospective customers are encouraged to ask for sight of these.
